The History Behind Northwest Hunter

Northwest Hunter began with the taping of four pilot episodes in 1991. Those first few programs were broadcast in the Portland, Oregon market. They were such a great success, that production began in earnest and eighteen years and nearly 350 episodes later, Northwest Hunter has taken its place as a national leader in outdoor programming.

Our solid staff of professionals includes award winning cameramen and one of the best studio editing departments in all of outdoor television. Northwest Hunter's episode format includes the widest variety of wildlife adventures found on American television today.

After 11 "Telly" awards and The Golden Moose Award for The Best Big Game show, Northwest Hunter has set the standard for all outdoor programming. If viewers want variety, that's what we give them.
